Having a different video for different parts of the world is quite unusual. Perhaps the reasoning was an aesthetic one, perhaps it was something to do with the amount of time that had passed (almost a year) between this and the original video.
Whatever the reasons, this is a beautiful video – and quite rightly won Tim Hope an MTV Music Award for Best Art Direction.
