Just as Camden Town was the epicentre of indie cool back in the ’90s, music papers NME and the Melody Maker were weekly manuals for aspiring bands. To have studied these pages for so long – and then found themselves within them – possibly marks the first ‘through the looking glass’ experience for the fellas.
Nowadays, Chris tends not to read the band’s press. It’s unclear whether or not this measure is to avoid another tumble.
