Seventeen years before taking to the streets of Sydney for the A Sky Full Of Stars video, Will and Chris were out to entertain the masses in London’s Covent Garden. This is a hugely popular tourist spot in central London, famous for its street performers.

Unfortunately, busking here requires a license – hence the abrupt end to proceedings!

Pictured is Chris’s first ever guitar, which was probably used on this day. This guitar was later sold in the 2009 “End of the Decade Clearout Sale” which raised funds for Kids Company.
