My sister passed away in her sleep when she was just 17 and she overcame being born with crouzons syndrome and having a few ignorant people treat her differently because of how she looked. She achieved top grades at school and had a lot of friends. The song reminds me to look beyond the cover and focus on what really matters in a person, their spirit, kindness and personality. She embodied that.
