Viva la vida came on the radio as I was driving with my mom one day who had been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer. She was feeling miserable however when this song came on, her face lit up and for a brief moment the cancer didn’t matter because we were both singing as loud as we could. She died 2 months later. This song will forever be special as it was the last song she sang with me.
