I was ten years old the first time I heard Coldplay. A Rush of Blood to the Head was just released, and I bought the album from my local CD store at the mall. I listened to that album on repeat during a trip to Washington D.C. with my family. I can remember feeling this incredible and overwhelming feeling that only music can give you, when you feel heard and understood. It is my favorite album.
