Boston’s show sees a bit of a Super Bowl theme creep in. The band themselves, of course, are no strangers to the event – the Boston Patriots however, have one-upped them by being the current reigning champions.
Chris makes a nod to this at the end of Yellow when he urges the crowd to “scream like you’ve just won the Super Bowl”. They’ve clearly had plenty of practise …
It’s another hot night (at least for pasty Englishmen, anyways), but the energy doesn’t drop until the final fireworks. It’s another touch-down and field goal night and the North American leg is already off to a great start.
Special mention must be made of these two folks who appeared at the C-stage all the way from (I’m assuming!) Hong Kong. Amazing!
