To coincide with Glastonbury Festival 2013, the BBC organised a public poll to discover the Favourite Glastonbury Moment from among the festival’s rich history, which stretches back to 1970. Happily, Coldplay’s 2011 set was crowned the winner.

Having witnessed many famous sets at many Glastonbury Festivals, it seems like a very fair winner. That show really was quite special. In the dressing room afterwards, the band celebrated like they’d just won a Cup Final. Which, in a way, they had.
