Folks not closely following the @Coldplay Instagram (shame on you!), may have missed a quite simple post from Hannover where I greeted the day with a cheery “Guten Tag Hannover”.

Helpfully, my iPhone decided I had meant to say “Gluten Tag Hannover” resulting in predictable hilarity amongst the comment thread. In my embarrassment, I made a quick edit. The internet it would appear is where your mistakes go to live on forever….

There’s been talk of opening the roof today to reduce the echoes a little, but the weather has other ideas. Me, I’m all for staying dry – and even more so, I’m all for roaring crowds…
Trouble gets an airing on the C-Stage, which is something of a rarity these days.
Another rarity is some laundry-related news in the day-sheet-email at the end of the show. Each day, Nicole our wonderful Production Co-ordinator creates a sheet with all the vital information for the next day and writes and accompanying email with any points that need raising.
Load-in times, bus departures, flight info, minor grumbles that the crew room is getting left a bit messy – all the essential stuff that keeps the tour moving is contained within.
It seems that the crew laundry run today has resulted in some mix-ups. Several people have had to track down who’s ended up with their pants, but it’s all been sorted out.
All except one thing. Tonight’s email concludes with “PS I have one Storm Trooper sock if you are missing it!!!”
The Coldplay crew is over 100 strong – and apparently some of it marches on Star Wars swag!
