I joined choir right around when I was 9 - and hadn't been exposed to a lot of music. Our music teacher would strum his guitar so we could all sing to the handwritten lyrics on large boards together. Viva la Vida was the first time I felt longing and warmth from a song, through its lyrics and then the music video. It will always hold dear to me as a piece celebration and memory from my childhood.
